Bateman Sheep

Welcome to the website of Efrem and Carol Bateman!

At present we reside in a lovely hamlet called Llywel which falls within the western area of the Brecon Beacons National Park, 13 miles from Brecon and 8 miles from Llandovery.

Over the past 10 years we have been keen to promote rare breed sheep with the showing and breeding of two main flocks, namely Yscir Valley Poll Dorsets and the Celtic Cotswolds. In 2008 our rare breed flock has been expanded to include Coloured Ryelands, our prefix being Riverside Ryelands.

We show some of our stock at Local and National shows around the UK. We begin showing in May and conclude in September and would like to thank all of those who help us at these show events and to family for their assistance throughout the year.

Our aim is to show, promote and occasionally sell high quality stock. If you are interested in a breed which is slightly different from the norm, then either visit us at the shows, or give us a call.
